Our History
From a Wholesale Lumber Business to Expertise in Export Packaging
Abresch’s history dates back to 1954, when Heinrich Abresch, together with his wife Eva Maria, laid the foundation for a wholesale lumber business. Early on, the founder gained valuable business experience that significantly shaped the company’s further development.
In 1978, a second pillar of the business was established with the founding of Abresch Industrieverpackungs GmbH. Since then, the company has been developing and manufacturing customized packaging solutions for demanding overseas and heavy-haul shipments. Today, Abresch is led by the second generation of the family—Heike Abresch, who serves as managing director and shareholder—combining experience, flexibility, and continuity.
