ARCA Holding GmbH (‘ARCA’) announces the group’s strategic investment in Ziesenhenne Holzbau und Holzhandel GmbH (“Ziesenhenne”) via Exportverpackung Sehnde GmbH (‘EVS’). The investment in Ziesenhenne represents a significant step in the growth strategy of ARCA and EVS and marks the expansion of their presence in the Saxony-Anhalt region, a strategically important location in central Germany.
Ziesenhenne, based in Benneckenstein, was founded in 1997 and employs eleven people. Since its foundation, Ziesenhenne has specialised in the manufacture of special pallets. Through its integration into EVS, Ziesenhenne is expanding its range of services and benefiting from access to EVS’s manufacturing and logistics resources. This will give existing customers of both companies access to an even broader portfolio of packaging and timber construction solutions – from export crates and special pallets to customised industrial packaging and logistics-related services such as container stowage and on-site service.
Managing Director and previous owner René Ziesenhenne will remain in his local role after the takeover and will actively support the future direction of the company together with the EVS management team to ensure a smooth transition and secure his personal succession solution.
