ARCA Holding GmbH (‘ARCA’) announces the group’s strategic investment in APL Paletten GmbH (“APL”) via Exportverpackung Sehnde GmbH (‘EVS’). The investment in APL represents a significant step in the growth strategy of ARCA and EVS and marks the expansion of their presence in the North Rhine-Westphalia region, which is considered an important industrial location with numerous medium-sized companies.
APL, based in Bad Sassendorf, was founded in 2011 and employs eight people. Since its foundation, APL has specialised in the manufacture of special pallets and transport packaging. Its wide range of products includes disposable pallets, chemical pallets, Euro mesh boxes and wooden packaging. APL thus primarily serves the iron and metal processing industry and perfectly complements the EVS portfolio.
APL will be seamlessly integrated into EVS and thus into ARCA, while maintaining the usual quality and continuity of service for existing and new customers. The previous owner of APL, Jörg Otte, decided to sell the company in order to focus more on his other business activities and will leave the company after a transition period. Local management will continue to be handled by the existing authorised signatory and sales manager Markus Hoppe, supported by the EVS management team to ensure a smooth transition.
