The ARCA Group continues its dynamic growth course and welcomes KIPA Industrie-Verpackungs GmbH, another renowned industrial packaging company, to its network. With three locations in Hanover, Magdeburg and Bielefeld, KIPA strengthens the Group’s regional presence in the heart of Germany and expands its service portfolio, particularly in the area of packaging services.
“With KIPA, another renowned industrial packaging company is now joining ARCA. We are particularly pleased about this because it means that our packaging services division will continue to grow significantly. In addition to its already very strong production expertise in the field of wooden packaging and pallets, KIPA as a packaging company is now the ideal addition to the group in this service segment.”
Martin Fix, CEO of the ARCA Group.
KIPA was founded in 1980 and has been owner-managed ever since. With an annual turnover of around 9 million euros, KIPA is one of the established service providers in the industry. Customers appreciate the full range of services offered in the areas of packaging, storage and shipping, as well as the delivery of suitable packaging materials. The three locations stand for strong regional proximity, flexibility and professionalism, which have secured KIPA loyal customer relationships over decades.
ARCA is growing in a targeted manner and KIPA provides the right strengths
For the ARCA Group, the addition of KIPA is a significant step: in addition to expanding its packaging services, the company brings long-standing customer relationships, additional capacity and valuable industrial packaging expertise to the group. This allows ARCA to grow in a balanced manner across all segments and strengthens its position as a comprehensive provider of solutions in the field of packaging materials, packaging and logistics services.
Even after joining, KIPA will remain true to its identity: KIPA will remain KIPA – with everything that has shaped the company for decades. The brand, the image, the people, the customer relationships and the entire service concept will remain completely unchanged. This principle is central to the ARCA Group, meaning that each member company will retain its established structure and continue to operate independently on the market in the future.
Frank Miles, co-owner of KIPA, will remain on board as managing director for at least one year and will actively support the transition phase. Torsten Wolf will continue to manage the Magdeburg site and remain part of KIPA’s management team in the long term. Markus Wachal, authorised signatory, will take over responsibility for the Bielefeld site as Frank Miles’ successor. In Hanover, long-standing site manager Burkhard Wolf will remain in charge. For customers, this means that familiar contact persons, unchanged processes and the usual high level of service will remain in place and will be complemented by the strength of the ARCA Group.
“ARCA embodies what I want for the future of KIPA. In a strong community, we are now continuing what I have built up with my team over the last decades.”
Frank Miles.
