ARCA Holding GmbH (‘ARCA’) announces the group’s strategic investment in PLC Westerwald GmbH & Co. KG (‘PLC’). The investment in PLC represents a significant step in ARCA’s growth strategy and marks the expansion of ARCA’s regional location to include Peter Gomber GmbH.
PLC was founded in 2008 and is a dynamic company with 16 employees based in Bannberscheid, Rhineland-Palatinate, less than 5 km from the Peter Gomber GmbH site. With a holistic service portfolio, PLC offers services related to wooden packaging materials and the associated shipping processing.
PLC is a specialist in the field of export packaging, packaging materials and load securing systems. In addition to its regional proximity, the expansion of its product portfolio creates significant synergy potential with Peter Gomber GmbH and is an ideal addition to the local site. PLC will be seamlessly merged into Peter Gomber GmbH in order to benefit from a joint brand and market presence.
The founder and managing director of PLC, Mark Gutberlet, is rejoining the group and will take on a new role as authorised signatory of Peter Gomber GmbH alongside his long-standing business partner Franz Schuler. This will secure the long-term succession of the two companies and ensure smooth integration in order to continue PLC’s growth trajectory as part of ARCA and the local location in Rhineland-Palatinate.
