Skagit Valley Packaging – Successful ARCA integration with full autonomy

Martin Fix

CEO ARCA
With 30 years of experience in the wooden packaging industry, I have already solved many challenges—I would like to repeat that.

A year ago, Skagit Valley Packaging GmbH (‘SVP’) became part of the ARCA Group, and now the company is taking stock of the positive results: Integration into the ARCA Group has been successfully completed, while SVP continues to operate as an independent brand with a familiar image and regional roots in the market. With the recent relaunch of the company website, this path is now also visible digitally.

The ARCA Group pursues a buy-and-build strategy in which the individual character and proven image of the companies are deliberately retained. The focus is on building a strong network in which synergies are exploited while respecting corporate identities. The case of Skagit Valley Packaging shows how this approach is put into practice.

‘ARCA gives my customers access to an extremely expanded product portfolio, while ARCA benefits from SVP’s expertise in sheet materials and the manufacture of products from them. Furthermore, ARCA takes the pressure off me by taking on tasks that have nothing to do with my business. Our new website symbolises this progress, combining modern communication with our traditional values.’

Strong alliance with room for growth

Based in Brandenburg and specialising in high-quality wooden packaging, SVP strengthens the ARCA Group’s market position in eastern Germany. At the same time, the company benefits from joint initiatives for digital transformation, process optimisation and product expansion within the group.
